About

last update: Aug 2025

I study how people’s diverse affective feelings in real life can converge into communicable representations. Specifically, my work focuses on 1) identifying socio-biological structures of the human affect system, 2) developing methodologies to investigate it, and 3) translating the resulting scientific insights to adjacent fields such as mental health and robotics. To this end, I combine experimental approaches (e.g., naturalistic neuroimaging) with computational techniques (e.g., representational learning/alignment, predictive modeling).
