I’m excited to announce that I have officially accepted the PhD admission offer from UCSD Psychology! Since UCSD Psych has long been my dream program because of its research-intensive and interdisciplinary environment, I’m deeply thrilled to have the opportunity to pursue my PhD at this institution.
I will pursue my PhD under the supervision of Dr. Eshin Jolly, whose research focuses on identifying neural representations of social relationships and affective experiences. He explores how these representations function in naturalistic settings through the development and application of innovative tools, which is highly aligned to my theoretical and methodological interests. I first met him at OHBM2024 and shared my future plan of PhD with him. At that time, he was extremely supportive of my research ideas and approaches.
Also, I have been inspired by other faculty members’ articles - e.g., Long et al (2024), Lin et al (2023), Yoo et al (2023) during my master’s program. I hope to make powerful synergy in this institue through productive and open collaboration!
